Spears 867-SR Series PVC Clamp-On Saddle with EPDM O-Ring, Zinc Bolt, Stainless Steel Reinforced Outlet, Schedule 80, IPS OD x NPT Female

This Spears 867-SR series schedule 80 PVC clamp-on saddle has a reinforced female NPT threaded outlet for connecting to pipes or fittings with male NPT threaded ends, and is suitable for adding a 90-degree branch to a pipe. The stainless steel reinforcement increases the life of the outlet, and the National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads create a tighter seal than straight threads. The saddle is made of gray PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for chemical and corrosion resistance, high strength, and no more weight than metal. It has an EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) seal for resistance to oil, water, and a few solvents, and is compatible with all types of pipe with an Iron Pipe Size (IPS) outdoor diameter (OD). The saddle has a maximum pressure rating of 235 pounds per square inch (psi) at up to 4″ IPS, 200 psi at 6″ IPS, and 150 psi at 8 to 12″ IPS. It comes with zinc-plated steel hardware for protected mounting to a pipe. This PVC clamp-on saddle is suitable for adding a 90-degree branch to pipes for chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, and chemical drainage and wastewater remedy systems.
