The 4-place One-sided freestanding Kayak, or SUP Rack is built with Northern White Cedar from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Cedar is decay, termite and Powder-post beetle resistant. This rack is designed for functionality and aesthetics by lake home owners. It not only cares for and organizes your boats, it may be matched to its surroundings being log construction. With finishing options you’ll match dock, house, and so forth… or let it turn silver/gray and not using a finish, or you’ll use your own finish if this is the case desired. This rack holds the heaviest of Kayaks, Surfboard and SUPS (Stand Up Paddle-boards). This rack isn’t designed for Canoes. Every boat can weigh as much as 100 pounds. This rack has as much as a 400 pound capacity. We’ve worked with logs for over 23 years crafting log homes, furniture and kayak racks. Every joint is glued and screwed for longevity. We use glued mortise-and-tenon joinery wherever imaginable. Hand made and finished by Log Artisans in Northern Wisconsin.
