This Goodyear Engineered Products F5 Blue TPE air hose assembly is a hybrid thermoplastic hose manufactured for quite a few pneumatic applications where resistance to oil and cold temperatures is necessary. Its tube and blue cover are both made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which is non-marking, both durable and flexible, and resistant to oil. Both components are rated Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) Class B, which means that that they are going to undergo a maximum volume change of +65% and maximum 50% loss of their tensile strength after exposure to oil. This hose is reinforced with polyester yarn for strength, can face up to temperatures ranging from -40 to +158 degrees F (-40 to +70 degrees C), and comes equipped with two factory-installed brass male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded fittings. This hose is suitable for quite a lot of pneumatic applications in industries such as construction and manufacturing.
