Lewmar has developed a new range of vertical windlass to compliment the current V-range. Windlass is without doubt one of the largest divisions of Lewmar and we are in constant contact with boat designers boat builders and owner?s associations to make certain that our products remain at the vanguard of development. In response Lewmar has developed the new CPX range.
Following discussions with key customers Lewmar identified the need for a high-quality product that may be lighter than the all stainless steel deck unit. Due to this fact the CPX deck unit features an alloy base. With an emphasis on reliability they’ve reviewed the architecture of the windlass and reduced the choice of parts without compromising on performance. This also makes the windlass easier to service. Lewmar strives to keep up to the moment with new developments within the motor/ gearbox industry repeatedly testing new products coming to market and the CPX Windlass is no exception. The result is a
highly reliable light weight high performance windlass.
