The 3-place freestanding Rack is built with Northern White Cedar from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Cedar is decay, termite and Powder-post beetle resistant. This rack is designed for functionality and aesthetics by lake home owners. It not only cares for and organizes your boats, it may be matched to its surroundings being log construction. With finishing options you’ll be able to match dock, house, and the like… or let it turn silver/gray without a finish, or you’ll be able to use your personal finish if that is so desired. This rack holds the heaviest of Kayak, Surfboards, Canoes and SUPS (Stand Up Paddle-boards). Each and every boat can weigh as much as 100 pounds. This rack has as much as a 300 pound capacity. We have now worked with logs for over 23 years crafting log homes, furniture and kayak racks. Each and every joint is glued and screwed for longevity. We use glued mortise-and-tenon joinery wherever conceivable. Hand made and finished by Log Artisans in Northern Wisconsin.
