The old-fashioned pump had two leads bolted to the pump. The present design has a plug in harness. The wiring included does now not require any modifications to plug into your harness. The older pump isn’t as powerful or durable because the up to date design, which is what we are promoting. This new pump works and fits perfectly into the older applications but is designed for ethanol fuels and better output engines.
