Lightweight and portable, the SE9 is made or 38mm Polykrylar, a tough, long-lasting material that’s highly resistant to both punctures and affect tears. As a result, the boat can handle almost any challenge, from pond fishing to yacht tending to relaxed river running. The boat is also super stable thanks to its four air chambers: a main chamber, an upper safety chamber, a motor-mount fortify, and one floor chambers. The removable, reinforced, (9) tube, (8) I-beam, 38 mil Polykrylar™ inflatable floor encased in the indestructible nylon fabric protective outer sheath provides increased rigidity and an additional backup safety chamber. And even if the boat holds up to four people, you’ll also use it for a solo go back and forth with a ton of gear, as the SE9 supports up to 1,200 pounds.
As with all of Sea Eagle’s motor-mount boats, the SE9 is compatible with plenty of small motors. The lightweight boat can literally motor all day on less than a gallon of gas. If you are boating on a lake that bans gas engines, you’ll opt for a small electric motor, which will push the boat along slightly well. Or you’ll go with no motor, as the boat also includes molded oar clasps and four molded oarlocks for manual paddling.
The SE9 fisherman dream package comes with Sea Eagle’s MM-3 motormount, which works better than other mounts because the aluminum tubing bends back into the hull for added stability.
