When properly installed, these steering wheels will attach to marine helms with ABYC same old 3/4” tapered steering shafts, the use of SeaStar Solutions or an identical anti-vibratory lock nuts. Wheels with equidistant spokes are instructed for boats supplied with hydraulic steering during which a centered or “master spoke” wheel can’t be maintained.
