SLICK LINE FISHING LINE CONDITIONER was developed with tournament bass fisherman and local hobbyists to improve upon other offerings in the market that fall short of claims. We went to great lengths to thoroughly develop and test SLICK LINE using innovative polymer technology that bonds to the line, reinforcing it while adding lubricity to reduce the breakage of line due to wear. In the process, the polymer relaxes the line, reducing line memory, twisting, and backlash. SLICK LINE FISHING LINE CONDITIONER was thoroughly field tested, both on the lake and in the laboratory. Rigorous performance testing included tensile strength, product viscosity in temperature variance, line memory/recoil testing, line deterioration, and casting ease/distance. In tensile strength evaluation, new line was tested untreated versus new line soaked in SLICK LINE for an extended amount of time, with no change in tensile strength (no breakdown of the line). Product viscosity remained constant from -20°F to 120°F, allowing SLICK LINE to be useful in both freezing and very warm climates without fail. Line memory/recoil testing saw a marked improvement in the lines resistance to both, and casting distance testing saw yards of increased distance when comparing untreated and treated lines. Lake evaluation showed improvement across the board in casting distance, reduced line memory and twist, and longevity of product after multiple hours on the water. Our tournament bass evaluators were elated with the increased length of time between line changes, saving them time and money in the process, keeping their lures in the water instead of in the boat! This unique polymer is designed to condition new or previously spooled monofilament, braided, or fluorocarbon line.
