This is a superb brass ship’s bell with 6″ wide . The bell itself stands any other 6″ tall, with a total height of 8″ from additional height from the wall mount when mounted. It’s of a heavy enough gauge of brass so to be used both indoor or out. The clapper could also be manufactured from solid brass with a beautifully knotted rope bell pull attached to it. The bell has a nice, sharp edge to the highest of the bell and decorative pinstripes along the lower edge that contrasts well with the clean curve of the remainder of the bell. ‘U.S. Navy’ is deeply engraved into the side of the bell.This gorgeous bell is new, and not using a problems.
