The Cyrix-ct 120 battery combiner is a microprocessor controlled heavy duty relay that Routinely connects batteries in parallel when one battery has reached charge voltage, and disconnects when the voltage decreases below go with the flow level. Cyrix battery combiners are a very good replacement for diode isolators, as there is virtually no voltage loss. The combiner senses the voltage of both connected batteries, and will activate if either is on charge. There’s a short delay before the batteries are connected, and in the event of unstable voltages, the Cyrix-i looks at the general trend and reverses a previous action provided that the trend has reversed right through a certain time frame. It’s going to Routinely adjust to a 12V or 24V system. Maximum continuous current is 120 amps, with a 5-second crank rating of 180 amps. The Cyrix-ct replaces the Cyrix-i, and adds an internal temperature monitor and voltage spike supression when disconnecting.
